The Swaziland Library Association will be hosting the Standing Conference of
Eastern, Central and Southern Africa Library and Information
Association (SCECSAL) in 2016 where the country will host the Member
African countries in the field of library and information services.
Categories of membership for the Association consist of Honorary, Personal/Individual, Institutional and Correspondence Members.
Honorary Membership: This category is open to persons who have rendered distinguished service in promoting the aims and objectives of the association.
Personal/Individual Membership: This category is open to librarians, bibliographers, information scientists, documentalists and other persons connected with the administration
and management of libraries and other information centres, or interested in the aims and objectives of the association.
Institutional Membership: This category is open to libraries, corporate bodies, societies and other organizations which maintain libraries or information services or are interested in them.
Corresponding Membership: This category is open to persons and institutions outside Swaziland.
